The profit of the organizer of the online cinema exceeded UAH 15 million
Cyberpolice of Ukraine has blocked the operation of an illegal online cinema with a multimillion audience. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.
“A 36-year-old resident of Lviv created an online cinema application and later administered it. The man provided access to the films despite the lack of permits from the rights holders, represented by the Ukrainian Anti-Piracy Association, ”the statement says.
The basis of earnings was advertising posted on the service, as well as a premium account fee. According to preliminary data, the profit of the defendant amounted to more than UAH 15 million. The pirate online cinema is currently blocked.
