The ban will come into effect on September 1
From Wednesday, September 1, Ukraine the entry into its territory of cars from the Transnistrian region of Moldova on the license plates of the so-called “republic” will be forbidden.
In accordance with the instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, only vehicles from the Transnistrian region with registration plates of an agreed sample and so-called neutral numbers are allowed to participate in international traffic.
“Pass across the state border of Ukraine and/or transit through its territory will be prohibited for the vehicles from the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova with other registration numbers,” the message of State Border Service says.
