The only victory for Ukraine will be the disappearance of Russia, because for Russia itself it is a war for our destruction. In such a situation, there are no compromises. Most understand this, but few look the truth in the eye - neither the wholesale transition to the Ukrainian language, nor the entry to the borders of 1991, nor even the capture of Moscow will lead to the collapse of Russia. The Muscovites themselves burned it, and then held marches and balls in Paris. Trite, they have more resources, material and human, and there is a strategic depth. And most importantly, they have their own religion, which can change its name (now it has a sign "Russian World") and seem absurd to us, but it is able to generate a strong idea and the will to implement it. Forget our telethon and look at Russian history, Russia has been expanding throughout its existence. He always argues this with a “threat to his own interests” and, having seized the territory, begins to assert a new “threat” on the borders. It stops only when it gets hit in the teeth, but any liberal regime becomes a period of accumulation of forces for subsequent expansion. And this is not a cover for his imperialism or the need to plunder for the sake of existence, this is his nature. And we must know and understand this inside of our enemy.
The easiest way to characterize the religion of the Russians as a heresy on the leaven of Orthodox Christianity and local "marsh" archaic beliefs. But for a better understanding, you still have to go a little deeper into the essence of the issue, because now few people fully understand even Christianity.
Each mythology is a complex symbolic system that carries a variety of ideas, narratives and meanings. Our ancestors thought quite rationally, they had limited tools for understanding the world (before telescopes and microscopes, it was still a long time to go), but they were quite capable of creating symbolic systems and abstract concepts of the then terminology to transfer knowledge to the next generations. Survival conditions in the past were very difficult - constantly pursuing hunger, disease, danger behind almost every tree, natural disasters and the same representatives of homo sapiens who are fighting for life. Human reflections on the concept of "evil" and its nature and origin are very ancient.
In almost every religion there are cosmogonic myths about the creation of the world and usually the forces of evil are directly involved in this process, that is, our material world has a dualistic nature. Either the world and all living things are created from the body of a murdered monster, or by some cunning or deceit, the evil deity spirit spoils our world and human nature in particular. Each idea tends to give rise to its extremely radical forms over time, such was Gnosticism - the idea of opposition to spirit and matter. According to Gnostic ideas, the material world is a concentration of evil, created by an evil deity - the Demiurge. A person can reunite with a good God only by knowing the secret knowledge - gnosis, after which the surrounding evil world has no value for him.
Christian theologians and scholastics formulated the idea of evil in this way - the absence of good. The main principle of any activity is the main thing is not to harm. A person, having complete free will, independently makes decisions and embodies them. The prayer "Our Father" reflects, first of all, taking responsibility for one's own actions and life, and rejecting resentment - from shifting the blame onto another, that is, from the search for evil.
Closer to the 20th century, Gnosticism in its "light" forms without the idea of God, but in the fight against "evil and injustice" acquired a variety of ideas of "building a bright future" led by self-confident and enlightened leaders and leaders.
In the 1650s, a split occurred in the Moscow church. As a hundred years ago, so today it is a religion of chosenness in the fight against universal evil, which right here and now requires an active struggle. The reward is not just individual salvation, but rule over the world, so no matter how much territory there is, it is always not the whole world. She feeds on human infantilism, malice and resentment - a secret desire to shift responsibility for her own failures to others, subjectless persons form the basis of her flock. Heresy is extremely collective in nature, requiring readiness for self-sacrifice for the sake of a common cause. The ctonic cult of death "Grandfathers fought" is perfectly combined with the requirement for self-sacrifice. Myths about Kitizhgrad, Moscow, the third Rome and the rest are only a superficial form of expression.
Why does a Russian liberal end up with questions about Ukraine or abandoning the nuclear arsenal? Yes, because he is the flesh of the flesh of the Russian people, whose identification and mentality are shaped by four hundred years of narratives of being chosen and fighting. How can one give up nuclear weapons when there are only enemies around and suddenly there will be a need to turn them into nuclear ashes. Therefore, the Russian liberal accumulates resources for the struggle, and the Russian radical actively uses them. Human life in such a case is only a resource. The signs may change, “the millennial kingdom of Christ”, “the society of general welfare”, “the Russian world”, but the methods and essence remain, all for the sake of destroying evil, and today this is an imaginary evil - we are Ukrainians.
That is why Russia must disappear, and a number of new state formations with their own identifications have appeared on its territories. But this requires us Ukrainians to be pragmatic, have a long will and, most importantly, value human life. Firstly, because there are far fewer of us Russians, and secondly, because otherwise we will become like them.
