The first secretary for cultural affairs at the Ukrainian Embassy in Paris, Ukrainian singer and writer Irena Karpa presented a video for the song ” WOMEN ARE COOL DUDES”. The song was released on March, 8.
The video, which is more like a documentary about women, was shot by French director Diana Rudychenko.
“In general, the idea of the music video is bold and sincere: to collect portraits of very different women. From the hairdresser Fatima from Saint-Denis to the Scandinavian biker Uvi… And my favorite is, of course, Aunt Valya at the meat market, which literally “cuts off the shoulder”, – said Karpa.
Aunt Valya, without a doubt, added color to this video
“I wanted to highlight real women who deserve attention, but whom we do not often see in the modern media space.”, – Rudichenko commented.
Karpa says: “This video for me is about solidarity, strength and healthy nonchalant. Here are the girls from the Kiri group dancing twerk (personally I twerked to save myself from depression during the lockdown) and the cool military singing and dancing under the Motherland statue”.
